The story of Hosea is an incredible love story. Hosea faithfully follows and obeys God’s command to marry Gomer. Problem is Gomer’s past. She can’t escape it. Despite the love, care, and patient affection of Hosea, Gomer keeps running back to her old ways. Just like you and I do when it comes to our relationship with the Lord. The good news is God is patient with us and His love redeems us no matter our checkered past. He’s there waiting and wanting us to come home.
